Assassination - Pinnacle by stuckart Assassination - Pinnacle by stuckart
Map - Pinnacle

Game - Halo|Reach

I am the blue guy. [link]

To truly enjoy this picture, make sure to download it. I went for the same depth of field look with using the blur tool. I think it came out very well.
Of course, photoshop was used. Vibrance and contrast, curves, levels, hue and saturation etc... The pics seem to dark to me, so I brighten them up.

I also turned this into an ad banner/poster: [link]

-Added large resized picture and made prints available.

They take time to do. Anybody can make these panoramas with a little patience and photoshop.

It is pretty cool. Best way to get that illusion is place the camera close to something when making the panorama.

How much work goes into joining the pictures?

Mainly taking the pictures and photoshopping them is what consumes the time. The actual stitching is something I let photoshop do for me. It's an available feature in the program and I abuse the hell out of it. I could hand stitch the pictures together, but it would take forever. Efficiency is awesome.

I also wrote a journal entry about how I do the panoramas: [link]

I have used that feature before and it was pretty rad :D However, there were always a few errors - although I guess taking the pictures in a still videogame would help that :D

Have nothing move for the panorama is quite the help as well, indeed. I also make (real) nature panoramas, but I don't post them, because they aren't as good as my halo pics.

They aren't on this computer. The one they are on is not near me at the moment. So it may be awhile.
